Barb’s lively curiosity extends to all sorts of activities and cultural outlets, from the latest in the arts to the next great restaurant. Her capacity to learn and explore has served her well through a distinguished career in the agency business, from leading global consumer brands, through blockbuster product launches like NutraSweet, to the growth of complex biologic therapies in the healthcare arena. A master of team building, Barb excels at developing talent, and bringing together diverse agency groups (and even multiple agencies) to move a client’s brand further ahead.

Robin Shapiro

SVP, Executive Creative Director

Robin was destined for the creative side of advertising—her father was a creative director, and her mother an ad-business recruiter. After a brief turn on the consumer side, Robin has spent 15-plus years at Corbett as a copywriter and creative leader, helping to create success for some of the biggest brands in pharma.

From the building of the multi-billion-dollar brand Abilify to the record sales of Pepcid, Robin’s instinct for what sells is unfailing. Her humor and effervescent personality make working with her a lively proposition.

Elaine Eisen

President

Elaine’s crazy about Big Ten football, particularly when it’s at Northwestern, Chicago’s own lakefront university. Energetic? Outspoken? A force of nature? Call her what you will, but don’t call her when her alma mater is on the football field or when the Chicago White Sox are in town. Elaine’s loyalties, once earned, are ferocious, and clients and staff find out that having Elaine on your side is a lot like having a home field crowd on fourth and goal.

Elaine started her career in pharmaceutical brand management, and then found the agency business was a lot more fun. Endlessly curious, deeply experienced in the business from launches to mergers, Elaine never rests until all the questions are answered.

Gemma Bolech

Gemma may be from Chicago, but the charm and personality of her family’s roots in northern Italy are evident in the warmth Gemma brings to all of her clients, projects and relationships. Gemma is a Corbett veteran, skilled in many therapeutic areas including ophthalmology, endocrinology, and dermatology, and she has corporate experience as a Special Assistant to the CorbettAccel CEO. Gemma is invaluable to her teams and is never at a loss for ideas or optimism. She is a recipient of both the Accelerator Award and the Client Momentum Award, two of Corbett’s highest honors that together recognize both her commitment to our Shared Values and her unceasing dedication to client success.
